Nice varied menu and counter service. Staff was very nice for my first time there. I was in for breakfast as an out of towner. I did wonder what scrapple was when I ordered my omelette. Later learning it's called goetta back in Ohio. Everything was good. Portions were nice sized also. I did get orange juice but was hoping for something fresher than bottled juice. Seating area was decent sized also very clean. Holiday music in the background made it a festive ambience. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a restaurant with a nice change.
They have healthy and flavorful bowls with chicken teriyaki/fried egg/lettuce/avocados and glass noodles! Soooooooo DELICIOUS!
I mean i had to come here because of the name. I'm also from Jersey where Deli's had the best food. We were welcomed with a loud hello and a smile from a woman I believe was the owner. I ordered the bulgogi sub, and my boyfriend ordered the tuna wrap. We both upgraded to combos. That bulgogi was super tender and flavorful! Fries were fresh and hot, and they had that tasty ketchup in the red bottles (IYKYK). My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his wrap as well. And the food was also moderately priced! So glad to run across this place on tiktok. I'll def be back!
I can't say enough about this place. I eat here every Wednesday for the last two years. I've tried nearly everything on their menu. There is not a bad sandwich here. You can't beat the value. The Club Combo is probably my favorite. All fresh ingredients. The owners and help are very friendly. They work hard. They try hard to please. Just a great mom and pop place. The only negative I can say is the Fries suck. They are bland and have no flavor. No nothing. And for 4.49, just not something worthy to consider. Aside from that, you can't go wrong here. Order and pay online. Its the smart play. The place gets busy with walk-ins. You will be waiting.
Don't let this restaurant name fool you or you will miss this hidden gem. As you walk in, you're immediately greeted with friendly smiles, attitude and positive energy. The menu is on a large chalkboard, paper menu as well on a kiosk. It's a deli infuse with Korean flare. I ordered 3 items: 1) Bibimbap with chicken teriyaki 2) Bulgogi Sub 3) Dad's Special. The chicken teriyaki bibimbap is served with rice, jap chae, julienne cucumbers, julienne carrots, corn, mixed greens and topped with a fried egg. It's very satisfying to see that silky egg oozing out and now it's party time. Everything incorporated well together, it was very tasty. If you like, you can also add extra sauces such as teriyaki, gochujang, sesame for extra flavors served on the side. You also have a selection of protein of your choice. The bulgogi sub topped with mayo, shredded lettuce and tomatoes was simple but yet surprisingly delicious. The marinade meat was SO tender and it was amazingly good. You won't be able just to take one bite. The Dad's special is basically an Italian sub with Italian meats and cheese. All sandwiches come with a choice of sides. The highlight for me was those breads. They were toasted to perfection which reminds me of Vietnamese banh mi subs. I will definitely make another trip to try more items on the menu.
